Electronic controller KR-5 controls the amount of air supplied to both Astra G boiler chambers by changing intensity of fan operation. The fan speed is being changed during the combustion process. The fan and a circulation pump are automatically switched off when temperature of the smoke drops below 75°C and does not rise for a determined time. The electronic controller allows setting the boiler water temperature in the 65 - 90°C range. The temperatures of the circulation pump turning on/off could be reset at desirable levels. The controller responds to temperature changes of outcoming hot water. It has one free channel which can be programmed at customers desire to control whatever other appliance in a boiler room.
The electronic controller has some essential advantages against the thermostatic one. It handles the combustion process more efficiently, reacts more flexibly to temperature changes and controls the air inflow more precisely. These result in less fuel consumption, more heat output transferred to heating system, less combustion by-products: ashes, soot, tar. The controller design is clear, not overburdened with unneeded functions, it is reliable and durable.
